Responsible gaming

Betting is entertainment that costs money. It is not a way to earn, and it is not a way out of a shortfall. Most people who bet lose over time — that is how the odds are built.

Strictly 18+

We do not open IDs for anyone under 18. We also do not serve players in Telangana, Orissa, Assam, Sikkim or Nagaland. If you are in one of those states, please leave this site.

Set your limits before you start, not after

Decide these three things before your first deposit, while you are still thinking clearly:

  • A monthly amount you can lose entirely without it changing anything about your month. If losing it would hurt, it is too much.
  • A time limit per session. Long sessions are where discipline goes, not big bets.
  • A stopping point for the day — both when you are down and when you are up. The second one is harder.

Never deposit money you have borrowed, and never deposit to win back what you have lost. Chasing losses is the single most common way a manageable habit turns into a serious one.

Warning signs

Any of these is worth taking seriously, and several together is a reason to stop now rather than later:

  • Betting more than you planned, or more often than you planned
  • Borrowing money, or selling things, to keep betting
  • Hiding how much you bet from family or friends
  • Betting to escape stress, boredom or low mood rather than for enjoyment
  • Feeling restless or irritable when you try to cut down
  • Missing work, sleep or commitments because of betting

Ask us to pause or close your ID

You can ask on WhatsApp at any time to have your ID paused for a set period or closed permanently. Say plainly that you want a self-exclusion — we will not try to talk you out of it, offer you a bonus to stay, or ask you to reconsider.

Once a self-exclusion is in place we will not open a new ID for you for the period you asked for. If you want it to be permanent, say so and we will treat it that way.

Where to get help

If betting has stopped being a choice, speak to someone outside it. Gamblers Anonymous runs free peer-support meetings in India, in person and online, at gamblersanonymous.org.in. Your doctor can also refer you to a counsellor — problem gambling is treated as a recognised condition, not a character flaw.

If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, contact Tele-MANAS, the Government of India's free 24x7 mental health helpline, on 14416.

Practical steps you can take today

  • Turn on your bank or UPI app's spending limits so a bad night cannot run away from you
  • Keep betting money in a separate account from your salary and bills
  • Ask someone you trust to hold you to the limit you set
  • Use your phone's screen-time controls to block gambling sites during hours you know are risky
